Join the Bird Wing group in Algonquin for a full day of winter birding. Catch a glimpse of the many winter finches that frequent the park. Enjoy the calls of Crossbills as they fly overhead. We might even be lucky enough to spot a Spruce Grouse, Canada Jay or the notorious Black-backed Woodpecker.
We will be starting at the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre and heading out to other hotspots such as Spruce Bog Boardwalk, Opeongo Road and Barron Canyon Trail. Participants will be responsible for their own accommodations and travel to Algonquin.
