There are many ways to get involved with Nature Guelph to help us connect people to nature and inspire them to celebrate and protect it. A passion for nature is contagious, so spread the word.

Become a Member

If you appreciate our programs and activities, consider buying an annual membership for you or your family. As an entirely volunteer-run registered charity, 100% of our membership fees go directly toward funding our education and conservation programs and initiatives. More importantly, each individual member adds to a collective voice for nature so together we have greater impact with our advocacy efforts.

Regular Membership $30. Student Membership $15.

Student memberships are available to any high school student or younger, and to any university student with valid ID. All fees are yearly, with our membership year running from September to June.

Ways to Give

Nature Guelph donors can direct where they’d like to see their charitable dollars put to work. Outlined below are three separate Funds for which income tax receipts can be issued.

General Fund
This Fund holds general donations, often received at the time of membership renewal, and is used for any Club-related special purpose deemed appropriate by the Executive. Examples might include improving the website or supporting a special Club event in Guelph.

Reinder Westerhoff Youth Education Fund
This Fund supports youth education initiatives, including registering Guelph youth for the annual Ontario Nature Youth Summit.

Conservation and Land Stewardship Fund
This Fund supports land conservation and stewardship in Guelph and Wellington County, either directly or through initiatives by other groups such as rare and Ontario Nature.

If you would like to speak to someone about making a donation by another method, please email [email protected].

Volunteer

There’s always work to be done! Nature Guelph is run entirely by hard-working volunteers and we usually have a special project or two on the go that could use your energy and talent. If you want to learn more about these opportunities, or have ideas about how you can volunteer your time and skills to support Nature Guelph, please email [email protected].
