Join Nature Guelph Bird Wing for a guided Bird Walk around Preservation Park. This volunteer-led walk will feature early spring bird migration.  Enjoy a morning out in nature observing our many feathered friends as they make their journey north. 

Event is currently at capacity. Please feel free to join the waiting list and we will let you know if spaces open up allowing you to join us. Nature Guelph members are welcome to register early. Non-members may only register two weeks before the event: https://forms.gle/oA6qRNVZzzQSNEEXA

Nature Guelph events are open to non-members and everyone is welcome! This event is free, but donations are always appreciated. LOCATION & TIME: Meet at Hanlon Creek Park lot (505 Kortright Road West, Guelph, Ontario).  Note this location is also on Guelph Transit Route 7.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

  • Distance: Approximately 3-5 km walking
  • Terrain: Mostly flat with some rocks and roots and some wet spots 
  • Trail Difficulty: Easy
  • Washrooms: None
  • This event is family-friendly.
  • This event is NOT dog-friendly.
  • Dress for the weather.
  • Bring your binoculars and spotting scopes if you have them. If you need some binoculars, Guelph Public Library has binoculars that can be borrowed.
