Jenna McGuire, Ecologist, Educator, Scientific illustrator

Take a dive below the water’s surface to explore everything from the magic of vernal pools to who dwells in Lake Huron’s depths. We will discover some of incredible yet often overlooked species and stories of the watery realm.

Jenna is an ecologist, educator and scientific illustrator from the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula. She has a BSc in wildlife biology (University of Guelph) and a graduate certificate in scientific illustration (California State University, Monterey Bay). Much of her career has been spent above and below the waves searching for mollusks, fossils, fish and more! Jenna now operates her scientific illustration studio out of a tiny ancient cottage on the shore of Lake Huron and focuses on using art as a vehicle for nature and earth education.
