CELEBRATE POLLINATION WEEK! Nature Guelph Wildflower Speaker Series in Partnership with Pollination Guelph

Fiona Reid

Fiona will share a close look at life after dark in her garden in Speyside. Her focus is on moths, their predators, behaviour and role in pollination. Studying moths led Fiona to survey caterpillars and uncover their close association with native plants as hosts. Songbirds rely heavily on caterpillars for raising their young, demonstrating the importance of moths for maintaining biodiversity.
