The joint Plant Sale with Nature Guelph, Pollination Guelph and the Enabling Garden was a great success, netting about $3,600 for each group. Leftover plants from the sale were donated to the King George School Yard Garden and to the Township of Woolwich Elmira Nature Reserve project.
Nature Guelph was pleased to donate leftover plants to Trees for Woolwich for their Elmira Nature Reserve project, which involves converting 67 acres of old farm fields to forest, savannah, wetland and tallgrass prairie. We look forward to touring the area in a few years.
Thanks to all who donated or purchased plants, and a huge thank you to those who volunteered. Programming for next year will once again be held via Zoom, and we look forward to continuing joint programming with Trees for Woolwich.
