 ve Biology\, U of G\n–\nThere is worldwide concern about pollinator decl
 ine. Dr. Caruso is interested in how plants respond to pollinator decline 
 over time and how it affects their evolution. She will share the surprisin
 g results of her research.\n\n\nChristina (Chris) Caruso is currently an A
 ssociate Professor in the Department of Integrative Biology at the Univers
 ity of Guelph\, where she studies the ecology and evolution of native plan
 ts. Before moving to Guelph 20 years ago\, she lived in Ohio (where she re
 ceived her undergraduate degree in biology)\, Illinois (where she received
  her PhD in biology)\, Iowa and North Carolina (where she held post-PhD re
 search positions). In her free time\, Chris is a voracious reader\, an ent
 husiastic home cook and baker\, and a year-round early-morning runner.\n\n
