DESCRIPTION:Sean James\, Master Gardener\, Writer\, Teacher\n–\nGoing nat
 ive does not mean a sacrifice in beauty. Sean will discuss great\, and oft
 en overlooked native species that deserve a home in our gardens. Sean will
  also address the biodiversity these species support and their benefits to
  birds and pollinators. Location suitability will be dealt with\, includin
 g addressing difficult soils and situations.\n\nA graduate of Niagara Park
 s School of Horticulture\, a Master Gardener\, writer\, and teacher\, Sean
  James focuses on eco-gardening techniques. He has spoken at events from t
 he Maritimes to Seattle and landscaped from Switzerland to California. Sea
 n had the honour of being part of creating the new Ontario Landscape Tree 
 Planting Guide\, the Grow-Me-Instead guide\, the Ontario Horticultural App
 renticeship Curriculum\, the national Red Seal Occupational Standard\, and
  the Master Gardeners Reference Manual. He has chaired the Environmental S
 tewardship Committee for Landscape Ontario and the Environmental Committee
  for the Perennial Plant Association and been featured on radio and televi
 sion\, including filling in for Paul Zammit occasionally on CBC’s The Ga
 rdening Show.
