 gweed Mitigation Project brings together government agencies\, land manage
 rs\, property owners and volunteers to combat one of Ontario’ most dange
 rous invasive plants. The project is dedicated to education\, mapping and 
 coordinated removal efforts throughout the Grand River Watershed. John Kem
 p will highlight how giant hogweed spreads rapidly – particularly downst
 ream via waterways – and why a united community response is essential to
  protecting recreation\, agriculture\, and residential safety along the ri
 ver.\n\nJohn Kemp\, an inventor and product developer\, is passionate abou
 t nature\, outdoor adventure\, and mentoring youth. He founded the Giant H
 ogweed Mitigation Project in 2019 to address a gap in community response t
 o this invasive threat. John’s work combines hands-on management of gian
 t hogweed with educating and inspiring others to take environmental stewar
