It is a weird and wonderful waterfowl season. Hamilton is a mecca of avian activity and is particularly rich in water bi rds due to the close proximity of water bodies such as Hamilton Harbour\, Cootes Paradise\, and of course\, Lake Ontario.\n\nEvent is currently at c apacity. The trip ends around 1:00pm. \n\nIMPORTANT DETAILS:\n\n This event incl udes considerable travel by car.  Public transport is not available.\n T his event is family-friendly\, BUT there will be prolonged periods of wait ing/standing around\, potentially in cold\, windy\, and/or wet weather. Th is event is likely not suitable for young children.\n This event is NOT d og-friendly.\n This will be a full day please be prepared with snacks\, l unch\, water and a warm beverage. There are opportunities for quick food s tops along the way or bring your own lunch.\n DRESS WARMLY! It will be co lder than you think! Dress for the weather – it’s often colder than yo u think along the water\, so wear lots of layers! And you might get wet.\n Bring your binoculars and spotting scopes if you have them.
