It is a weird and wonderful waterfowl season. Hamilton is a mecca of avian activity and is particularly rich in water bi rds due to the close proximity of water bodies such as Hamilton Harbour\, Cootes Paradise\, and of course\, Lake Ontario.\n\nREGISTRATION REQUIRED ( Limited to 20 participants) Nature Guelph members are welcome to register early. We will return to Guelph around 1:00pm. \n\n IMPORTANT DETAILS:\n\n This event includes considerable travel by car.  Public transport is not available.\n This event is family-friendly\, BUT there will be prolonged periods of waiting/standing around\, potentially i n cold\, windy\, and/or wet weather. This event is likely not suitable for young children.\n This event is NOT dog-friendly.\n This will be a full day please be prepared with snacks\, lunch\, water and a warm beverage. T here are opportunities for quick food stops along the way or bring your ow n lunch.\n DRESS WARMLY! It will be colder than you think! Dress for the weather – it’s often colder than you think along the water\, so wear l ots of layers! And you might get wet.\n Bring your binoculars and spottin g scopes if you have them.
