DESCRIPTION:April's Bird Wing meeting will feature David Pritchard\, co-own
 er and co-founder and roast-master of Birds and Beans Inc.  David will be
  answering the key questions\; what is Bird Friendly® coffee and why does
  it matter? \n\nBirds of Two Worlds\n\nDavid will discuss the basics of B
 ird Friendly coffee and how our migratory songbirds link the people of Nor
 th\, South and Central America and how we must all work together to save t
 he birds.\n\nHe will describe what Bird Friendly coffee is and how it can 
 be a powerful tool in the race to save our migratory songbirds. Bird Frien
 dly coffee is an example of a sustainable agriculture model.\n\nDavid is t
 he Cofounder and Head Roaster of Birds and Beans Inc. Prior to founding B&
 amp\;B\, David held a number of positions in the Healthcare and Biotech se
 ctors.\n\nHe is an avid Native Plant Gardener and noticed that the native 
 plants supported a wide variety of insects and bird species. It was this i
 nterest in native plants that helped to develop his views on the importanc
 e of conservation of natural habitat which in turn led to the interest in 
 Bird Friendly coffee. He is a firm believer that our way forward to a sust
