 scussion about the remarkable capacity of beavers to solve many of our soc
 iety’s challenges simultaneously and for free! Often misunderstood as nu
 isances\, beavers are in fact powerful ecosystem restoration experts\, and
  the wetlands they create do far more than meets the eye. They support bio
 diversity\, stop wildfires\, resist drought\, recharge our aquifers\, and 
 mitigate climate change. She will share how working with beavers can lead 
 to better outcomes for our communities and should be a key aspect of clima
 te resiliency.\n\nJulianna van Adrichem is the founder of Beavers Canada. 
 She is a conservation professional with degrees in International Developme
 nt and Zoology and works at the intersection of science and community enga
 gement. Julianna also serves as Co-President of Nature Guelph\, where she 
 supports governance\, collaboration\, and local environmental programming.
  Her work focuses on beaver-assisted conservation as a means to address in
 terrelated environmental challenges.\n\n&nbsp\;
